Terms and Conditions

Not signing the Contract does not cancel the order.  You have entered into an agreement with us when the order was placed.  A signed contract is required so that we know you understand the terms of the rental contract.

Cancellations: If order is cancelled within 30 days of shipping, lessee will be charged 50% of the total contract rental amount.  ORDER MUST BE CANCELLED IN WRITING, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Return:  Lessee is responsible for returning backdrops by due date stated on the rental contract.  Lessee will be charged a late fee per backdrop per day if not returned by date as stated on the rental contract.

Damage/Loss: The Lessee assumes complete responsibility for backdrops rented and agrees to fully reimburse Kenmark, Inc. for loss or damages incurred during the term of rental.  Kenmark, Inc. retains full capacity to determine physical damages and assess proper amount for reimbursement.  Lessee is not permitted: to staple, tack, pin, glue or hang drops in any manner other than with the provided tie lines.  Failure to comply with the proper hanging methods will result in a fee for damages.

Changes in Contract: Written confirmation from Kenmark, Inc. will be required to approve or confirm changes in items or dates for rental.  Changes to the rental contract are contingent upon availability.  A service fee will be charged for any changes to the contract.

Rental Policies

In order to secure backdrop rental, we recommend you order as soon as possible. We will then process an invoice and contract. Kenmark, Inc. requires a signed contract, and your final payment in full two weeks prior to the date of backdrop shipment. Kenmark, Inc. also retains the right to require a refundable security deposit for any rental.

When ordering a Show Package, all of the above requirements are applicable. Further, Show Packages are only rented as a package; the backdrops are not rented individually unless notated on the package detail page. Please contact us for specific details for each Show Package.

Shipping and Rental Periods

All backdrops are rented on a weekly basis. A weekly rental is from Monday to Monday; Lessee will receive backdrop(s) on Monday and will return backdrop(s) the following Monday. Kenmark, Inc. does not guarantee the arrival of the backdrops for any other day. If an earlier arrival date is needed, the only way to guarantee the earlier date is to rent the backdrop(s) for the additional week.

Nutcracker and Holiday Backdrop Rentals

Nutcracker and Holiday backdrop rentals have different shipping schedules due to high demand and rapid turnover. Please contact Kenmark, Inc. for these shipping schedules. Payments for all Nutcracker and Holiday orders placed prior to October 1st are due on or before October 15th. All orders placed after October 1st, are due within two weeks after placing the order along with the signed contract and security deposit. If you order within two weeks of your ship date, payment and deposit are due immediately. Payment by check is not  accepted within two weeks of shipping.
